E-Commerce is one of the most important facets of the Internet to have emerged in the recent times. E-Commerce or electronic commerce involves carrying out business over the Internet with the assistance of computers, which are linked to each other forming a network. To be specific, E-Commerce would be buying and selling of goods and services and trunsfer of funds through digital communications.

Cycle time is the time that needed to complete a business transaction. E-commerce can reduce the cycle time by eliminating steps in business process and take a shorter time to complete a business transaction. Through, this system the company can reduce unnecessary cost and gain competitive advantages towards other companies. The supplier can send the goods or services directly to the customer without involving retailer or middle man and it can help to reduce the cost.


E-Commerce can improve employees’ empowerment. E-Commerce allows company to give more power and responsibility to the employees. Thus, they have more flexibility in conducting their works. This system also easily for employees because they can work at their own house and can provide a quick response or feedback to the customer through the internet.
